After important announcements, Hercules is now the essential Avengers member missing in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
The debate over hypothermia has been talked about a lot, but the genre continues to be one of Marvel's best-selling and most anticipated audiences each year. According to Screen Rant, the issue Marvel should focus on is not the cooling of superheroes but the cooling of the Avengers.
Indeed, the MCU has realized its drawbacks as it enters a new phase and is planning to expand the Avengers team both on the big screen and in the television series. The three characters Captain America, Thor and Iron Man who were the center of the MCU during the Infinity Saga phase, now, the TV shows allow fans to witness the debut of Mockingbird, Crystal, Monica Rambeau, and U.S. Agent. Soon, Moon Knight, She-Hulk and Ms. Marvel will quickly join the MCU squad on Disney +
As can be seen, most classic Avengers have been introduced or planned to debut shortly. Among Marvel's never-before-seen characters, many viewers are deeply sorry that the famous superhero Hercules was not intended to be used by the MCU until this point.
In the comics, Hercules is one of Marvel's strongest heroes and is Thor's rival. He joined the Avengers in the late 1960s, joining the team in battles with Magneto, Namor and the Red Guardian.
Hercules plays a vital role in some significant Avengers events, including "Under Siege," a fact that nearly made him defeated by the Masters of Evil, the Marvel villains alliance. Hercules is also known as "The Prince of Power." He is considered to be the strongest of the Olympus, who can take on anything and defeat anyone.
However, Hercules is also known for being lazy, promiscuous, drinking a lot of alcohol, and having great pride in his heroic achievements. These qualities make his contrast with his Nordic counterpart in Marvel Comics, Thor.
When adapting to the big screen, the boundary between the two characters is blurred by the changes that the MCU has created for Thor since Thor: Ragnarok. This, in part, made Hercules's role unnecessary. However, in the upcoming Phase 4, the appearance of the Greek god is more likely to bring humor to the works because he possesses qualities that are contrary to Thor.
Screen Rant commented that if the MCU brought Hercules to the screen, this could very well be an impressive Avengers member, creating many classic stories for Marvel.
