Review Hobbs and Shaw (Fast & Furious: Hobbs & Shaw)

Hobbs and Shaw, simply watching about action, entertainment in terms of images, music sometimes catches ears and content ... it's hard to ignore.

Continuing to eat and make at the box office, it was not uncommon for the brand Fast and Furious, despite the content fatigue, but the "plowing" of sales has never made studio and filmmakers disappointed. So, after 7-8 parts of Fast and Furious, the audience saw the brand's "Universe" continue to expand with the story of Hobbs and Shaw (Fast & Furious: Hobbs & Shaw).

Hobbs and Shaw brought the audience to the world of two characters, one of which was a minor character, one was a villain in the Fast and Furious brand: Luke Hobbs (Dwayne Johnson) and Deckard Shaw (Jason Statham). The two must work together to defeat the mysterious villain Brixton (Idris Elba), and rescue the world from the conspiracy to destroy humanity.

Get more and more disparaging reactions from the online community through the Fast and Furious movies, but that's probably not enough to flutter the studio with money still flowing into their pockets from the big audience. They love entertaining movies, visual satisfaction, sound, and a story with a tail end.

That is precisely what the story of Hobbs and Shaw continues to be aimed at. From the trailer and the first images, the film did not hesitate to hide the fact that it was actually a parody of Marvel or DC superhero movies. Logic in movies basically doesn't mean anything, so don't mind the so-called physical laws if you want to enjoy the film altogether.

The "stoned" issue of the brand Fast and Furious in general and Hobbs and Shaw in particular also started from this "experimental science" when the brand's starting point was not a superhero movie but is an action movie. The action movies are of course no reality, but there are limits anyway, and movie viewers can temporarily accept the film's logic itself.

The Fast and Furious movies later and both Hobbs and Shaw defied the limit, bringing the film's action to a new level (or a new low, depending on how you see it), to the point of "acting despite all the laws of physics "has now become a factor used to promote the film. As long as the movie makes viewers watch out for its unbelievability, as long as the movie still has the ability to race and dominate the box office, not in North America, it is also in Vietnam.

There was nothing to complain about the faces and actions of Hobbs and Shaw. Due to the director of Atomic Blonde and Deadpool 2, David Leitch molded, the punches or confrontation scenes in the film were very eye-catching and attractive. This is the factor that can save the film in case the content is too bad while obscuring the minor errors, so the film is invested in the image, the most spectacular explosion skill possible.

The idea of putting a "petitioner" couple into a situation that confronts each other like this is not new (actually trendy in action films about 10-15 years ago), but with the current guidance, Dai made the duo of Hobbs and Shaw characters worth watching. The film has a lot of right angles (though not really excellent), and the film color is also fantastic. Hobbs and Shaw used alternating hot, cold tones for the parallel performance of the duo, contributing to portraying the distinct and uncomplicated differences between Hobbs and Shaw.

The contrast is repeated in many scenes, highlighting the story surrounding two characters. Thinking, these are definite points of an entertaining film with mediocre content about the family, the hero rescues the world and defeats a terrorist organization with an old thought as the Earth is a conspiracy to destroy humanity, "restructuring" of humanity. Hobbs and Shaw initially seemed happy, as expected of the audience when watching the trailer. But gradually later, the dialogue screen of the couple made viewers feel bland, there is nothing called humor, thunderstorms, and children. Without the appearance of "salty" sub-characters (played by famous faces), the audience might only wish for the film to cut the scene quickly to see if the characters rushed to shoot each other. Radiation for sleepiness.

The story of the film is divided into 3 very clear paragraphs. Each school followed a formula of introduction, climax, end and our main characters although there were only 3 people but always took the upper hand against the antagonists like ants, but in fact very useless. This makes the film less surprising, easy to guess, and feels boring and fails to make the audience 100% focused on watching the movie. The film's content dates back to after Fast and Furious 5 onwards is no longer focused, so expect a worthwhile story from Hobbs and Shaw that seems to be a bit extravagant.

It's so long, but in short, Hobbs and Shaw, simply watching about the action, the visual entertainment, the music sometimes catches the ears and the content ... it's hard to ignore.
